4 Christmas' in 3 days

Whew, my family is exhausted. Instead of doing all the celebrating in 1 or 2 days we usually do the celebrating over 3 or 4 days. I find that we are all in a better mood if it is done that way! And especially with 2 kiddos who need naps we all have a nicer time if they get their sleep. ;)
But we are too tired! We have slept in until 9:30 or later since Saturday...
Friday was a busy day of church then Sake Blue. My family has a tradition where we go eat at a chinese restaurant (fra ra ra ra) hehe. But last year we made the decision to go to a Japanese restaurant to eat Sushi. YUM
Then we came home laid out some doughnuts and milk for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer, followed by more visiting with family.

Saturday was a lazy morning with family. We spent the day lounging around in our PJ's and opening presents in between breaks for Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Saturday afternoon we headed over to my grandmother's house and had some wonderful food and opened presents there.

Sunday we visited with Scott's Dad and grandparents in the morning, took a quick nap and then headed over to Scott's mother's house to open more presents. Jax was a professional at opening presents by the time this weekend was over! ;)

Whew I am exhausted just thinking about all that went on...

Days off

I am going to have some days off! Well at least some half days. hehe
My IL's are off the rest of the year and were begging to keep the boys for multiple days during their time off. Well I said okie dokie! So they will be keeping Jax for a few days this week and Gavin for a few hours at a time. Gavin is still nursing quite a bit so I am unable to stray too far from him. I have been pumping milk a lot more this time around making it easier to leave him. I tell ya this time around I have been REALLY laid back. I thought I was a relaxed mommy with Jax but man with Gavin its a different story...
I really like to have some time alone with Gavin. I really haven't had much time alone with him. And the time I do have with him is rushed because I have a needy toddler that needs tending to at all times! So when we are all alone we spend time nursing in quiet and snuggling together. Although I think it makes Gavin feel weird because he is so used to noise and chaos, that when we have quiet time he squirms and whines. That is funny to me.
So I have been taking advantage of having one child by running errands and trying to get on top of my house work. Man I really had it made with one kiddo! You really don't understand how difficult it is to have multiple children until you add one more. ;)

Birthday

We celebrated Evie's birthday on Saturday. She would have been 3 years old. It's so hard to believe that 3 years ago I delivered my first child. She was born still and straight into the arms of Jesus! I have a hard time thinking about that day. So many things have changed over these 3 years! It feels almost like it was a different life! I've been so busy having babies that my time has been too occupied to even think about the loss. 3 years ago I would have never thought that I would be saying this. Don't get me wrong... she is on my mind but it just seems she is so far off my mind. I kinda wonder how things are going to be when things finally calm down. It seems like our lives have been so chaotic for several years now. What am I going to to with myself when things are so calm and I have time for my thoughts? Uh Oh, I think I might go mad if that happens. I really don't think there is going to be time like that with raising 2 BOYS! And they're true boys I tell ya!
But Saturday Scott and I spent the day together, alone, reminiscing. After the day was over, I spent some time looking through pictures of her and remembering how she was in the womb, imagining how her time is being spent in heaven. How wonderful is it for her to share her birthday 1 week before Jesus'. I can't imagine how wonderful it is up there right now. They're probably up there celebrating and having the best time! I can't wait to be reunited with my special baby girl! <3

Here are some photos of that day 3 years ago. And some of just a few days ago...

It's been a while... new addition.

Here we are again... I haven't touched this blog in a LONG time. But here we are.
There have been some changes in our lives since I last logged in. Jaxon is now a big brother to Gavin Thomas.
Gavin was born on September 15th, 2010. Exactly 22 months from his brother's birthday! He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. He is precious and Jax loves him. He is a great big brother, we do have to occasionally remind him to be gentle with his brother. They are wonderful and I am so blessed to have my boys!

Here are some pics from when Gavin was first born. I think he looks totally different from Jax when he was born. What do you think?

Snow Day

Well one of many since 2010 has started. But with this one Jax was awake when the snow came falling down! He was pretty amazed, saying, oooo ahhhhh. Needless to say it has been a snow day at the Wilson household! We haven't gotten out of our PJ's all day!

Jaxon walking

Here is a little video of Jaxon toddling around the living room. He is the cutest thing ever! He has since then become a professional walker! hehe

enjoy

Jaxon's 1st Snow Experience!

I have more video of Jax playing in the snow than pictures. It's kinda hard to video tape and take photos at the same time. hehe. I know some of you think that I am talented but man I'm not that good!
